Minutes of Meeting	Minutes of the 7th BOD of Rotary Club of Pune South conducted on 28th January 2024 AT 09:00 AM Venue : Ruia Mookabadhir Vidyalay Leave of Absence: PE Rtn. Dr. Mandar Ambike, Joint Secretary Rtn. Hemant Walimbe, PP Rtn. Abhijit Joag, Rtn. Madhuri Kirpekar, Rtn. Mridula Ghodke, PP Rtn. Dr. Kiran Purohit and PP Rtn. Dr. Sudhanshu Gore Proceedings of the meeting: 1) MOM of last BOD were approved. 2) Review by the President: a) The District Conference went off smoothly. b) Ex Rtn. Bhausaheb Sabade passed away on 12.01.2024. A resolution for condolence was passed by the President. c)PP Rtn. Abhijit Joag's book " Daavi Waalvi" won the prize by Granth Uttejak Sabha Pune. A resolution of Congratulations was passed by the President. 3) Director Club Admin Committee PN Rtn. Manisha Belgaonkar a) Works of Bulletin, Program and Fellowship Committees are working smoothly. b) She suggested that we try to increase attendance at the weekly meetings. 4) Treasurer: Rtn. P Sahasrabuddhe a) The P&L statement including all expenses forwarded to BOD. b) He informed that Rotary dues for 2nd term were received from 41 members till date. Director Service Projects( Youth and Partners in Service) PP Rtn. Sandeep Vilekar a) RYLA will be held in March 2024 b) The queries raised by Symbiosis Institute regarding Symcare Rotract Club were explained. Now waiting for confirmation from them. 5) Director Club Service Projects (Community Development) As Director was absent the President informed the BOD regarding following points. a) CSR will be received from Sandvik. A Dialysis machine will be donated to Tarachand Hospital from the same. b) Sundar Gharkul competition will be held in February 2024. c) Shashwat Sanstha (Nagar Dist.) are having sufficient space, water and fencing for Aamrai. So around 300 mango saplings will be handed over to them. d) Our Club will be participating in "Natya wachan Spardha " hosted by Rotary Club of Pune Parvati. An entry fee of Rs.4000/- has to be paid. 6) Club Advisor: Rtn. PP Dr. Rajendra Gosavi He informed that AG's visit and DG's visit is scheduled on 4th and 18th March 2024 respectively. Checklist for the same will be received from District Secretary. Accordingly preparation of BOD report, Trust report and Audit report will have to be done. Presentations of Projects and Programs will have to be prepared. A mention will have to be included of the Club's presence in District events. b) Regarding our member Rtn. Suhas Kirloskar i) Presence in weekly meetings and Club Projects his contribution is zero. ii)He should have clarified any queries regarding Club activities with the BOD or the Member who introduced him in the Club. But instead, he wrote directly to RI and DG, which is absolutely wrong. Also his Rotary dues for 2nd term are pending till date. So his membership may be terminated and Cc sent to DG .
