| Minutes of Meeting | Minutes of 6th BOD of Rotary Club of Pune South conducted on 24th December 2023. At 9:00 hrs Venue: Hotel Multi Spice Leave of Absence: Rtn.Dr. Mandar Ambike, PEN Rtn. Manisha Belgaonkar, Rtn. Hemant Walimbe, Rtn. Madhuri Kirpekar, Rtn. Mridula Ghodke, Rtn. PP Dr. Kiran Purohit, Rtn. PP Dr. Rajendra Gosavi and Rtn. PP Sudarshan Natu Proceedings of the meeting: 1) MOM of last BOD were approved. 2) Review by President: a) Rtn. Vilas Apte's brother passed away recently. A resolution for condolence was passed by the President. b) District Conference " Confluence" will be held at Pandit Farms D P Road Pune on 20th and 21st January 2024. President asked to attend in maximum numbers. c) New Board of Directors for 2024-25 formed by Nomination Committee has not received any objections yet, hence it is confirmed. 2) Director Membership Committee: Rtn. Abhijit Joag He informed that the target set by the District for adding new members was already achieved. He will try to add some new members in the second half. Following members have resigned 1. Rtn. Sangeeta Deshpande 2. Rtn. Hrishikesh Badve 3. Rtn. Nitin Pathak 4. Rtn. Dr. Suprashant Kulkarni 3) Treasurer: Rtn. P.S Sahasrabuddhe The P & L statement including all expenses forwarded to BOD. Expenses for Interact Assembly and Ekankika Spardha have crossed the allotted limit. But still sufficient balance is available. 4) Dir. Service Projects Committee Youth and Partners in Ser. Rtn. Sandeep Vilekar He informed that DG Manjoo Phadke will be bearing the cost of Banner and Flyer used for District Interact Assembly. Students contribution collected was Rs.70,000/- President Rtn. Prabhune and Rtn. Vilekar have personally borne Rs.50,000/- Special thanks to Rtn. Anand Badamikar for providing excellent food and catering services. The Charter Presentation of Symcare Rotract Club has been postponed due to clarification required by Symbiosis Institute . 5) Dir. Service Projects Committee community: Rtn. Dr. Sudhanshu Gore a) Rtn. Dr. Vijaya Gujarati's acquaintance has donated 50 blankets. These were distributed in Jogwadi gaon with the help of Paulwat Foundation. b) He suggested to hold the Sundar Gharkul Spardha at Jogawadi village in February 2024. c) 5 Sewing machines were donated under Dhaaga Project at Karanjawane village to ladies who were doing tailoring work. The work of stitching uniforms for 26 girls of Aniket Sanstha was to be got done by the above mentioned ladies. Part of the uniforms stitching bill will be paid from the donation received from Mr. Uday Kirpekar. d) Our Club lost all 3 matches played in the Box Cricket Tournament. e) The 4 Bandhare walls built at Sasewadi have developed leakage and need repairs. CSR of Rs.500,000/- has been received. It was decided to ask the villagers and Industries there to bear the balance charges. The work will be carried out from January to April 2024. f) Our Club had planted around 12000 plants in Kothale village. But due to scanty rainfall around 4000 plants have dried up. g) It was decided to impart training in the ongoing project to 200 Corporation Safai Karmacharis this year in 4 batches of 50 each. h) The 2 Dialysis machines donated to Sparsh Hospital were not in use. So they were shifted to Jana Kalyan Pedhi where they are working fine. An amount of Rs.7 lakhs under CSR will be received from Sandwik Company in the first week of January 2024. From this a new Dialysis machine will be bought and installed in Tarachand Hospital. i) It was decided to present this year's Vocational Excellence award to Mr. Vinayak Deshpande ( Chief Engineer Tata Projects) for construction of the New Sansad Bhavan at New Delhi. The function will be held on 25th January 2024 at Ganesh Auditorium in New English School Tilak Road campus. j) 2 Projectors are required by the Army Goodwill Schools, 1 at Dawar and 1 at Baraub, both in Gurez valley close to PoK. The hardware for these will be borne by the schools and the software translated to Urdu will be borne by our Club.
