| Minutes of Meeting | Minutes of 5th BOD of Rotary Club of Pune South conducted on 21st November 2023 at 19.00 hrs Venue: Residence of Rtn. Madhuri Kirpekar Leave of Absence: Nil Proceedings of the meeting: 1. MOM of last BOD were approved. 2. Review by President: a)Senior member Rtn PP Sudhir Waghmare's mother passed away recently .A resolution for condolence was passed by the President. b) "Tejonidhi" District Foundation Seminar will be held at Hotel Hyatt Pune on 25th November 2023. c) "Parikrama" car rally will be held from 4th to 10th December 2023. Directors Report: 1. Treasurer Rtn. Purushottam Sahasrabuddhe informed that many expenses are expected but available funds are insufficient. So he suggested to increase Membership fees by Rs.800/- from January 2024. Changes in Bylaws are required for increasing Membership fees. So this point will be raised in the coming AGM. 2. Special Committee Global Grants (CSR): Rtn. Vinod Agrawal informed that Gundalwadi Project payment has been done. Three Dialysis machines are available with the Club, and the Hospitals for installing them are to be decided. A training program will be held in December 2023 for Safai Kaamgars of PMC. 3. Director Club Service Projects Committee: Rtn. Dr. Sudhanshu Gore 5 Sewing Machines received under Dhaaga Project will be distributed in Karanjawane in December 2023. Also 1 Sewing machine each will be donated to women suggested by Rtn. Madhuri Kirpekar and Rtn. Mridula Ghodke. Rtn. Gore also suggested that the uniforms for the girls of Aniket Sanstha be stitched by the women to whom the Sewing machine were donated. Donations have been received for uniforms of Aniket Sanstha from Rtn. Ajit Phadke's friend Rs.15000/-Rtn. Mridula Ghodke Rs.5000/-and President Rs.5000/- . From this donation 24 dresses can be stitched. It was decided to give Rs.20,000/- under Synergy Project for painting of Nutan Bal Vikas School. 4. Director Public Image Committee: Rtn. Mridula Ghodke It was decided in Principle to paint "Bolkya Bhinti" and install a bench in the Mental Hospital, if a sponsorer was available. Also Rs.30,000/- were required for imparting training of Bakery Products. 5. Director Rotary Foundation Committee: Rtn. Madhuri Kirpekar requested to donate generously to the Foundation. Each BOD member to donate at least $500. and $30. from non- Rotarian friends. 6. President Elect Nominee: Rtn. Manisha Belgaonkar All avenues are working smoothly. She suggested to increase Fellowship amount for second term. 7. President Elect Rtn. Dr. Mandar Ambike He informed that the installation of Rotract Club of Symcare will be held sometime in December 2023. 8. Director Service Projects Committee Youth and Partners in Ser. Rtn. PP Sandeep Vilekar The meetings of Interact and Eco Clubs will commence after Diwali vacation and Sports events in the schools. RYLA is planned to be held in mid January 2024.
