| Minutes of Meeting | Rotary Club of Pune South BOD #3 Minutes of Meeting Date- 24th September 2023 Venue- Deccan Gymkhana Club 1) Leave of absence: Rtn. Hemant Walimbe 2) Proceedings of the meeting: 2.1) MOM of last BOD were approved. 2.2) Iinformed about District events- "Vivan" literacy seminar and Jagruti were imparted 2.3) Details regarding New scheme of Foundation for Non- Rotary members was discussed 3) Review by President: A resolution for Congratulating , PDG Rtn. Arun Kudale for receiving "COEP ABHIMAN" award and PP Rtn. Abhijit Joag for publication of his new book "जगाला पोखरणारी डावी वाळवी " at the hands of Shri. Mohanji Bhagwat PP Rtn. Dr.Sudhir Waghmare for receiving 7th patent Were proposed by President and and seconded by PP Rtn.Dr. Sudhanshu Gore. 4) DIRECTORS REPORTS: 4.1) Director Club Administration Committee- PEN Rtn Manisha Belgaonkar The weekly programs for 4 weeks in October 2023 are fixed. The program for Kojagiri would be held at a different venue and would be self contributory. 4.2) Director The Rotary Foundation Committee- Rtn Madhuri Kirpekar She suggested that each member of the club should contribute a minimum amount of $100/- 4.3) Chair person Global Grants and CSR committee- PP Rtn Vinodbhai Agrawal CSR: Meetings were held with members, and it was decided to make use of social media and paid agency like LinkedIn. The club had donated Dialysis machines to Tarachand Hospital. They requested Rs.250000/- for repairs of those machines. It was suggested to build 4 Mobile Toilets on Raigad Fort with the help of Deepasthambha with an approximate budget of Rs.20 lakhs We are trying for CSR for the same. Guldalwadi Project- We will try to resolve the issue, regarding payment of local agencies. These payments are not being made by the principal contractor due to some disputes. Rotary Charitable Trust- Issues like amendment of Buy-Laws and Patron Membership were discussed 4.4) Director Club Public Image Committee- Rtn Mridula Ghodke She informed that all the programs were loaded on to Facebook but not yet on Instagram. Mental Health Day is celebrated on 10th October each year. Our club intends to conduct few activities in this area. 4.5) Director Club Membership Committee- PP Rtn Abhijit Joag He indicated that a few new members are likely to join our club and their installation may be possible in during December 23 4.6) Director Club Service Projects (Community Development) – PP Rtn Dr Sudhanshu Gore Under the Happy Village Project it was decided to inaugurate the Automatic Weather Station installed in Ambawane School on 29th September 2023 with Syngenta Services Pvt Ltd Under the Art & Culture Committee, practice for Ekankika Spardha was in full swing. Dhaga Project- Eight Sweing machines have been received .Out of which 5 machines are to be distributed in Nasrapur area with the help of Dnyan Prabodhini. One each each to the recipient suggested by Rtn. Madhuri Kirpekar, Rtn. Mridula Ghodke and First Lady Sunita Prabhune. Old but usable clothes for kids will be donated to Sarthak Seva Sangh at Ambale during next week 4.8) Director Club Service Projects ( Youth and Partners in Youth) – PP Rtn Sandeep Vilekar District Interact Assembly was successfully conducted by our Club. 600+ registrations were received. 15 entries were received online for Cultural event at this program, but at the last moment more entries had to be added as the children had come in drapery and well prepared. Judging of the cultural events was done by PEN Rtn. Manisha Belgaonkar, Ann. Priyadarshini Ambike and Ann. Swati Pathak. First Lady Sunita Prabhune The event and the arrangements were praised by every one including DG Manjoo Phadake. She categorically mentioned that the event was celebrated as desired by the District. A resolution was passed congratulating , President, Rtn. Sandeep Vilekar and the Interact Committee for the successfull conduction of District Interact Assembly . This was suggested by Rtn. Dr. Gosavi and seconded by Rtn. Krishnakiran Velankar. It was decided to send letters of Appreciation to the participating Schools and their teachers Eco Club and Interact Club are conducting their respective programs regularly. Installation of Interact Club of Ambawane School was also fixed on 29th September 2023. In a well organized ceremony the installation program of Rotract Club of Pune Royal was carried out and Shreya Karandikar was inducted as the President 4.9) Treasurer – Rtn Bhau Sahasrabudhe He informed that Club membership dues in respect of 19 members were still due. Also Satellite Club dues were not yet received. The meeting ended and was followed by Fellowship sponsored by PP Rtn. Abhijit Joag. Kiran Velankar Secretary 2023-24 |
